Now that Week 9 is done, I am past the halfway point of my training for Lincoln. That means I really only have a 6 weeks or so to build endurance before tapering. Uh oh. I hope my long run woes turn around soon.

Mon. Feb. 27 - Rest Day
Tues. Feb. 28 - Rest - Another skipped cross-training workout. I really need to quit doing this.
Wed. Feb. 29 - 2x(6x400 m) Intervals (Treadmill) (5.50 miles, 59:27, 10:49/mi avg) - The first real snow storm of the winter, so I had to be on the treadmill once again. The workout actually went pretty good. My goal for each 400m interval was 1:50.

Thurs. Mar. 1 - Rest - Another skipped cross-training workout. I'd like to say I had a good excuse... but I think this was just me wanting to sleep in an extra hour.
Fri. Mar. 2 - Rest - Skipped 2x2 mi. tempo run. I was having a terrible week at work, and I just couldn't get myself out of bed. I know the exercise would have helped my stress, but I just couldn't do it.
Sat. Mar. 3 - 10 mi. Long Run (Treadmill) (10.15 mi, 1:34:56, 9:21/mi avg) - I finally had a good long run, and on the treadmill no less. I know it was mostly because I hadn't worked out since Wednesday, so I had fresh legs, but I don't care... it felt so good to actually have a strong long run! I also think I'm going to transition to having my long run on Saturday. It's much nicer just having Sunday completely off.
